Networks Engineer

As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, configuring and maintaining network infrastructure to support a variety of projects. You will be collaborating with other team members to sustain network solutions in a cross-functional environment which combines interoperable systems, applications and platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Design architecture of LAN/WAN and VoIP networks
• Configure, maintain network and security infrastructure (routers, switches, access points, firewalls)
• Monitor network infrastructure and perform relevant troubleshooting
• Participate in major transformation projects (e.g., SD-WAN, SDDC, Cloud Migration).

WHO WERE LOOKING FOR?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecoms or equivalent field
• Min. 4 years of experience in network and network security roles specializing on Enterprise WAN and Data Center areas (open for entry level candidates)
• Experience on IP routing including TCP/IP and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
• Experience in network security firewalling, with a focus on design and implementation.
• Experience in network management and network monitoring tools
• Experience on architecture design of LAN/WAN and VoIP networks will be considered as a plus
• Familiarity with SDN technologies and principles (e.g. SD-WAN, SDDC)
• Certification in industry certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CNP Security, CISSP, or CISM or equivalent Knowledge) will be considered as a plus
• Have good problem structuring and solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects against specific timelines
• Ability to communicate, understand and effectively work with our Clients to articulate their requirements and challenges
• Good verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English.
