About the Role
An independent filmmaker seeks a junior-level 2D animator for a mixed-media short film project. The work involves creating custom animations that will be integrated with live-action footage to enhance the narrative. This is a remote position with flexible timeline coordination.

Responsibilities

• Create 2D animations that seamlessly blend with live-action footage
• Develop animation sequences that complement the film's storytelling
• Collaborate with the filmmaker to understand creative vision and requirements
• Ensure smooth integration of animated elements with live footage

• Portfolio demonstrating 2D animation skills
• Experience with animation software (e.g., Adobe Animate, ToonBoom, or similar)
• Basic understanding of animation principles and techniques
• Ability to match animation style with existing footage
• Familiarity with video production workflow
